It is our desire to help each individual see their situation through the lens of God’s will, Word and plan for life. Often reflecting on the right question can radically shape our perspective. Seeing life in the context of what God is doing many times brings hope and reduces the intensity associated with change.
While it is difficult, sometimes, to admit that we would benefit from help, most of us are not equipped to deal with the emotions we experience. We get stuck.
“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” Proverbs 15:22
One of our goals is to equip each person, in their situation or season. By doing this God can bring good from a bad situation, so that none of the suffering is wasted. With proper training, realistic expectations, achievable goals, encouragement and accountability, God grows the faith of the individual.
